A father of three. An organization developer and sociologist. For 15 years worked as CEO of an NGO, and also lectured in a few European universities. Launched digital journals on ethnic and social issues, completed numerous countrywide and international research projects, and worked for businesses in the field of business ethics and organisation development.

Qualitative (interviews, experimental and observation) and quantitative (survey). At the business sector: organization culture, leadership and management; in the academic sector: minorities and rights, precess of socialization in schools.

Teaching

At universities (Brno, Budapest, Milan, Vienna) research methodology, field of social psychology, minorities and migrants; for NGO-s, schools, business copanies: trainings, developing organization culture. For 10 years leader a school for disadvantaged students.

Founder of first web-site of Roma, reporter at a few radio-programme, founder of any digital media and guerrilla marketing activity.

His story

His story

He graduated from Berzsenyi grammar school. At the time, computer programming was in the focal point of his life. He ran a preparatory school for over ten years for young Roma people that wanted to get into universities. Ligeti grew up in a family of teachers; his forefathers came from places like Budapest and little towns as well. "In 1996 we developed a CD-ROM to present the culture of the Roma community, which - at the time - caught people by surprise because by a click on the mouse you could watch a motion picture video. Since 1997, Ligeti has devised, implemented, and coordinated numberless national and international sociological research programmes. As organisation developer he helps leaders make decisions: encouraging them to recognise how they can progress.
